I'd like to hear the story behind that. I agree with the announcers, it seems Smart should have been immediately ejected for shoving a fan a la Ron Artest.

Marcus Smart getting some bad attention. on the replay it looks to me like that guy might have spit on him. If so, that is grounds for what he did in my book, but only that, words could not justify it.

Given their fans' reputation, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it came out that the guy that got shoved had spit on him or something more than just running his mouth.

Still, Smart should have been ejected and should be suspended for a game for it.

At this point I really don't want to know what the fan said because I'm sure it was very Techish, but Smart still should have been ejected and suspended too.

There's a wide angle shot they are playing on SC. Easily looks like the fan could have been spitting.

May have been a slur or something that the fan said to him. But we'll see.

I despise everything that is Texas tech.

I think it's becoming clear that the Tech "superfan" deserved a lot more than a little push.

That doesn't mean Smart won't deserve his inevitable suspension.
