On Joe Lunardi's ESPN Sportscenter segment today, he said that SMU was now a 9 seed after the Cincy win. He added that SMU could survive a couple of losses to lower conference foes before the season ended and still be solidly in the tourney. And lastly, he opined that it may not be a total shock if Brown had the Mustangs in the Final Four.

SMU is indeed one of the top 5 hot topics in college hoops this year.

The crazy thing is that with Larry Brown, you know that is not just coach speak. He means business. I think Final Four should be the goal with sweet sixteen being a realistic expectation for this team.

This year will be a challenge to plan tourney travel (as someone who can't go to every round).

Tickets are in the hands of the NCAA, not SMU. You better work for the NCAA or have deep pockets.
