"Remember USF"

Now that we have OFFICIALLY arrived, it's all about maintaining the ranking and creeping up the ranking boards. This means we HAVE to beat the 'bottom feeders' on the road (well, home, too but you know what I'm saying).

Something tells me LB will take care of all of this, but we need to go 2-0 this week on the road (I'm concerned the guys might get a little overconfident due to all the national pub). So, I'm proposing our mantra for the week should be "Remember USF" (as in "remember the alamo"). We simply cannot afford to come out low energy and just expect to blow out teams on the road - we will have to play with consistent high energy just like we do at home. (signs of not just a very good team, but a GREAT team which I think THIS team can become THIS year).

That USF lost really hurt but might serve as a reminder to the team to play hard against all opponents. Cincy just find out what happens when you don't match energy and effort against a determined opponent playing at home. Rutgers is better at home than USF and will be a challenge game for us.

No such thing as a good loss imo but that USF game might be just that if it serves as a reminder of what can happen if you overlook a team.

I don't have a problem with your slogan, but if the players listen to LB at all this week, they'll know not to take any of the upcoming lower tier teams lightly

We are still not ranked in the Top 25 of the USA Today Coaches Poll. There. That's something the team can fight against. No respect from coaches! :-)
