Re: Larry Brown Presser 02/10/2014He is so HUMBLE!!! What a man!!!
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
Re: Larry Brown Presser 02/10/2014He has mastered the press interview over 30 years.
Re: Larry Brown Presser 02/10/2014Amazing video! He honestly makes it sounds like this is where he truly wants to be and probably the last place he coaches before he hangs up the reins for good.
Did anyone else have a hard time hearing Larry. I always find myself plugging in earphones and turning the volume to max just to hear him normally for these pressers "And as long as they're keeping score, there will always be people who try to do everything they can to put up more points than the other guy." -Brent Musberger

Re: Larry Brown Presser 02/10/2014I still can't believe this guy is standing on our sidelines representing our university. So proud of him, and of our team. Soak this in folks - it is rarefied air.
Re: Larry Brown Presser 02/10/2014I am obviously extremely biased, but how can anyone root against us with this guy as our head coach?
Re: Larry Brown Presser 02/10/2014It is amazing how everything is coming together so well. The timing is terrific, By that I
mean - Larry Brown coming here; his recruiting great players; David Miller leading the donations for the new building; the construction of a fantastic, renovated facility; the great PR that Larry has done; the excitement of the student body; and the re-awakening of the Dallas community. I have been at SMU since l968 and should graduate soon, but I had tears of joy during the Cincinnati game. I was just thinking about all that I have written above and taking in the fantastic scene I was witnessing. Folks - this is a great moment in SMU sports history and it may continue to get even better. Someone on the board said that we had 7 recruits at the game. Can you imagine what they were thinking when they saw our team, the raucous crowd, and this wonderful new basketball venue. I wonder how many of them will soon be Mustangs. Hang on everyone it is going to be a wild ride!
Re: Larry Brown Presser 02/10/2014As humble as Coach Brown is, he does show his ego when questioned about the last few years in the NBA. I agree with him, but you can tell he doesn't like anyone questioning his results. He has a lot of pride and rightfully so.
