Any reasons for concern re: Mudiay?

I've been hearing more and more about problems at Prime Prep Academy and was wondering if issues there could affect Mudiay's NCAA eligibility for next season. To be clear, I haven't heard anything other than that Emmanuel is a good student and good kid, but could problems with the school cast any cloud over his eligiblity? I don't mean to put a damper on all of the fun we're having on here recently, I'm just genuinely curious and know that some here know more about the situation than me

Hopefully it will be ok, but I'd be nervous about any recruit coming out of that place. Terrible reputation.

Let's not start putting those thoughts out to the universe to attract. All is well.

Yes, everyone should be big time concerned. That place is more about how much money everyone is getting versus educating kids. Deion can say all he wants about it "being all for the kids" but the big falling out was over his partner getting 150K a year and Deion getting only 40K per year. Any time you have state agencies poking around, you have to be concerned............

Neon Deion is the "Jerry Jones" of Prime Prep.
Deion needs to get outta the way & let professionals run the school.
Quit meddling!

I think it's a relevant and reasonable question to ask, considering he's our only recruit signed for 2014 class and the best player we've signed in any sport since Eric Dickerson. No one made you click on the thread. Some of you are such [deleted]

Last year 3 prominent Prime Prep kids were all ruled ineligible-but were later reinstated. The concern would be if they lose accreditation or were placed on the NCAA Diploma Mill List.

Dammit. I'd have to think they're in danger of losing accreditation or at least being looked at more thoroughly- PP is a mess right now. If EM does well on the SAT (not sure if he's taken it yet) could that work to his favor even if the PP situation is bleak?

It's a definite concern, to pretend it's not is being ignorant of past problems that continue to be a problem. PP needs to get their shiz together or the NCAA is going to shut that down.

Can we just file this in the panic thread please? If it happens it sucks but there's nothing we can do about it and we've got more immediate concerns.....Rutgers, Temple, UCONN, Louisville, Memphis, etc.
