Total Frat Move is even writing articles about SMU now. This isn't a joke. Some of you will roll your eyes, but this is a great read and a very good tribute to our student section and in their words, "all that is right with college basketball"

I feel like I'm in freaking candyland right now

Thanks. I enjoyed that. He nailed it on all points re SMU students relationship with SMU athletics and how hoops is changing that.

I can't believe I actually made it through an entire TFM article without rolling my eyes. Impressive. And he made some pretty valid points on our student fanbase.

for what its worth the TFM guys are on campus all the time. They like to party in dallas and have a bunch of friends at this school. They write about SMU a lot which like it or not a ton of highschoolers (way more then current college students) now read. In a weird way I actually think it may help further our brand nationally a little bit. The write an SMU article pretty regularly. The website is pretty dumb though, but highschool kids dreaming about the glory days of college eat this kind of stuff up.

I have a feeling that SMU Basketball is creating that excitement that was lacking in SMU sports...and June Jones will definitely benefit from this.
If we start getting bigger crowds in Football (which by the sound of it, many students will show up to the game due to beer being served), it is all thanks to our SMU Basketball team and Coach Brown.
Until Football wins 10 games per season, and takes us to a New Year Bowl...I will consider it an assist or "alley oop" from Basketball to Football.

Great article by the way BlackoutPony

No wonder we were on probation 5 of the 8 semesters I was there…SMU considers a pledge choreographed dance hazing...
