I think we can talk attendance smack now so I have to say I can't believe the crowd(lack of) at the Longhorn game tonight. Couldn't be more that 2k there. Texas is ranked and have been playing great lately and with the Smart mess you would think there would be a huge crowd. Now I will sit back and hear from our Longhorn lovers.

Come on now, there's way more than 2k there. UT is rolling Okie St, 47-25 late in the 1st.

SMU just got a mention on the UT/Okie St game. And I don't know, if you're wondering why I'm still watching this game.

You're kidding right!! Way more? I guess I just expected a roaring crowd with Texas and Okie St both ranked and the importance of the game. The Big 12 is a dog fight this year and with Kansas losing Texas is hot on their heels. But if you think it is a good crowd I guess we will agree to disagree. Personally I thing Barnes has done a fantastic job with what he has this year. Don't think the team is getting their dues from the fans.

Check out the Ohio State / Michigan game if you want to see a good crowd. Moody has some serious passion these days, but the unity of student sections at schools with teams that are perennially competitive is pretty cool.

Yeah, I have been watching it since it started. I was switching back and forth between the Fla/Tenn. game and Texas/Okie St game and the difference was comical. One looked like a tennis match (Texas) and the other was bedlam. The Ohio State crowd is great. They have blown a pretty good lead though.

Not kidding. It wasn't a good crowd at all but to say only 2,000 were there is crazy. That place holds almost 17,000 and it was probably a little under half full. The announced attendance was 10,904. I'd say more like 6,000-7,000 actually there, which is way more than 2,000. A lot of their "red seat" ticket holders were no shows.
