Dale Hansen's prime story on Ch. 8 tonite, Just trying to learn from the Master about coaching, running practice, defense etc. . Substantial quotes from Jason Garrett. Wow its getting crazy now

It is time for Hart to step up and require June Jones to attend Coach Larry Brown's Practices. If Coach Brown's Practices are good enough for Jason Garrett then they must be good enough for June Jones. Something tells me Coach Jones could learn something.

Practice is only a minor issue for June. We need June tagging along with Larry on his recruiting trips!

We have the hitting vs non hitting issue in practice but I see what you are saying.

I second this. June is a great coach and teacher. He needs to hire a recruiting coordinator hotshot to go in and close out these recruits. Also needs to reach out to the community.
If he can beat TCU with a bunch of 2 star kids, imagine if he had tons of 3/4 star kids in his roster...we would blow out AAC teams and solidly compete with Big 12 on the field.

And it would hurt id he went out to build relationships at a few high schools. That would not require a hotshot recruiting coordinator.

Definitely would be nice if Larry Brown could go along with June Jones on a recruiting trips. Maybe both coaches could develop better relationships with coaches. Especially local Dallas coaches. Imagine Coach Brown and Coach Jones showing up at a High School at the same time. That is showing a commitment to the High School and the High School Coaches.

I counted about six coaches (the picture I tweeted only had a few), but I think it might have been just the defensive coaches. Someone said the entire staff was there, but I didn't see Bill Callahan, Derek Dooley, etc.

As for the Cowboys' defense, Shawn Williams was clearly excited the Cowboys — his favorite team, I assume — had their coaches in attendance, and said someone needed to tell Jason Garrett that he (Williams) was ready to add 60 pounds and play defensive end … despite the fact that he hasn't played football since he was a little kid.

No way do I want the bad juju funk of June watering down the high performance of Larry Brown. Larry is a guy who could write a legit book on winning. June is like a dude I canned last month.

Definitely need to build a relationship with the Cowboys. Our FB staff & players can go there and see practice/ have non-contact practices with the team/ meet the Cowboys day/play in Jerryworld once a year.

Always wondered why they haven't done this.

Again, city of Dallas has a lot of edge over, say, Norman, Stoolwater, Waco, Lubbock, etc, etc, etc...
