He didn't play against Cinci, so not too much of a surprise.

With a sore knee, a lot of plane/bus travel is not helpful, versus rehab time.

Let's get him well for the big games.

Does that mean he will also not play at Temple on Saturday?

I want his knee better for Unconn or at least Lousiville.

Aren't we just approaching the higher end of the estimated recovery time? Unfortunate but I'd rather see him rehab for as long as needed. We've got a bear of a backend coming up with the last conference games and the tourney. Easy does it.

He actually came in for seconds early in the first, but nonetheless it wasn't significant time. Hope he's ready for his next opportunity.

I was afraid he may have reinjured himself. He only played one trip down the court.

Re-watching the game, he came in during a dead ball in SMU's possession. Immediately on the next play Nic Moore is fouled on a 3-pointer and Moreira goes out before the second free throw. SMU subbed 3 players during the free throw so I don't know what to think. :?

He has tweeted that knee pain is now something he will deal with for the rest of his life. Also sounded determined to be back and play well.

He went in because cannen had just come in for Markus and did not block out on a free throw allowing an offensive rebound. Brown pulled cannen, spoke strongly to him about it, and put him right back in.

When I read the title I thought you were referring to the end of the Virginia game... I was thinking, "Yes, he did. And why the hell are you bringing this up now?"

Makes a lot more sense now...
