http://www.smumustangs.com/genrel/021214aab.htmlStorming the court after Saturday's victory over No. 7 Cincinnati (our first home win over a top-10 team since 1967) was appropriate; however, we must now act "like we have been there" - because we have!
I have already received several inquiries regarding season ticket prices for next year. I do not have specific information to share at this time, but we hope to have details finalized in the near future. Our goal will be to maximize revenues while maintaining accessibility and demand.

A) Don't storm the court when we beat Louisville
B) Prepare to pay for next year's tickets

That's every athletic department's goals when pricing tickets for any sport.

That's BS. If they raise them much, I wouldn't buy them after how much they already raised them last year. I'd be shocked to see them raised significantly otherwise I imagine they're going to lose a bunch of the season ticket holder base. Truthfully I don't know why he would even publicly comment on ticket prices when they haven't set them

I'll probably buy them no matter what if they're still within my budget. (And I guess they know that...) Lucky for me my wife is as big a fan as I am. But if the prices went up significantly two years in a row it would definitely put me off a bit, especially after last seasons large price hike. I wish they'd just abstain from commenting until they have real information. Vague comments are worse than nothing, not better. And I like his comment on the subject of court storming, although it was awesome for our students/team to get to experience it at least once.

Hell, if you are concerned about ticket prices, you could sell your Louisville ticket on Stub Hub and recoup the total price of your season tickets for this year. If they continue to improve, tickets next year for Cincy and some of the other games might pay for several seasons!

I'll sell my car before I miss the Louisville game.

We lose Louisville and add Tulsa & Tulane next season?, that should factor into the season ticket prices as well. Why don't we just wait and raise prices when we join the ACC?

Exactly. There's only 3 games I'd really want to pay much for next year. I just can't imagine the donor tickets going up all that much, but who knows.

We will pay more and we will do it with a smile, because the team will win. A lot.

I am sure the big hits will be the club, loge and suite seats where there is a waiting list. Risky to give up those seats because of a price increase. Probably never get them back.
