Basketball gurus this one is for you: Which one helps our RPI more?

I think UConn should win so that they remain ranked and we can still have 5 teams ranked in conference. But what do y'all think?

They both have the same amount of weight on our final RPI. 4.08. That said, their weight on our current RPI (what it will be immediately after the game, as opposed to at the end of the season) is different. USF's is 4.66 (as we have played them twice) and UConn's is 2.55 (we have only played them once and it was a home game).

i would like usf to win,so that we can have some room for 3rd seed in AAC tourney,to avoid 4th position .

I would be perfectly fine with that. I would think UConn would still make the dance regardless and it would show that USF doesn't play around

45-14 UConn at the half. Time to spin how a UConn win will be good for us.

With five top teams in The American finishing third would be huge.

OT: I was looking to see where the SMU game was going to be shown and it ticks me off that we are in ESPN News. I don't have that channel and neither do most bars I have tried to get them to put the channel on. Meanwhile UConn vs. USF are on ESPN2 which is not bad.

We are ranked so I thought we would get more ESPN love.

Absolutely. And we want them to be as highly regarded a team as possible when we (hopefully) take them down on the road at the end of the month.

Why wouldn't a bar have ESPN news? It comes with basic commercial sports packages. They may not know they have it.

Channel is set preseason. They don't flex them.

Possibly. That is the answer they gave me at Mattitos and Blue Goose Cantina.

Oh good. Hopefully next year we can get the SMU vs. UConn, Cincy, Memphis on ESPN
