Milestone victory!

Postby mustangxc » Fri Feb 14, 2014 8:59 pm

That was a huge win for this program. There haven't been too many seasons we have reached 20 wins in a season so while we are not where we want to be and have a ways to go to get there it is still a big victory nonetheless. It was especially big given that it was a road win and we have struggled on the road this season. Here's to many more seasons of 20+ wins!

Very solid, comfortable win on the road. First one of those in conference play. These guys are getting better every game.

And Rutgers was playing well coming into tonight. Our depth is huge.

This will not be considered a big win because it wasn't against a ranked team. But it was a huge win. Overcame some foul issues, playing in an arena that is differently a home team advantage stadium, dealing with delays due to weather and still dominating. Great win.

Getting a road win after being ranked is big as well. Keeps the momentum going.

I think the Temple game will be tougher. They got spanked tonight against Louisville at home but that historically has been a VERY tough place to play. We better not come in there flat.

Overcoming adversity in games, especially road games, to win is the mark of a mature team. This will be important come American and NCAA tourney time.
