We need another outside shooter for next year

We need another outside shooter for next year imo. As we have seen if you shout down Nic Moore the entire offense just about shouts down.

Part of is was Brown's poor rotation. Why wasn't Frazier playing? It was simple for Temple to defend us when we didn't have any three point threats.

There is more to Basketball than scoring. We lost because of rebounding, second shots, FT shooting and defending the 3. Nick Moore early foul trouble too, Larry Brown's coaching was fine-it was execution

Missing 7 out of 8 free throws at the end of the game cost us the game.

This. Mostly rebounding and FTs.

Sorry, buy just being honest....

That was without a doubt the worst display of just plain laziness that I've seen this team play all year long. PPPLLLEEEZZZEEE Larry, keep these guys in the gym until they each make ten free throws in a row. That was but one reason we lost this game today, at least the most glaring stat. Come on...14-26 for 53%. Really???

Come on!!! :(

I am not disagreeing with but we do need another outside shooter imo. All the other teams will do from this point on will probably be to pack it in and make SMU try to beat them from the outside. If that is the case then when Nic is on we are okay but if he is off or gets in foul trouble then we are going to struggle to try to win.

I understand what you are saying, but sometimes scoring leads you to do better defensively. Brown uses defense in order to help us spark our offense through transition points. I feel that if we would have scored better and had outside threats, we could have caused them to get tired quicker and in foul trouble quicker since they would be tired and would eventually make mistakes on defensive assignments.

SMU shoots 48% to Temple's 39% but we lose. SMU didn't need to hit 3s to win this game-we rarely do. We lost because we didn't execute in areas we usually excell

3 PT Shooting SMU 20% 2/10 to Temple's 33.3% 8-24

I am not saying shooting is everything, but whenever you do the same thing for 15 mins and continue to get beat, I feel you should change it up. I am just giving one area where we could have improved. Today just showed us the amount of wholes we have in our team.

Shoot I wish Brown would play Mudiay at point when Nic is out. Maybe he would be a good enough point guard. I think Brown uses guys he likes and gets stuck to that game plan, and sometimes doesn't adjust.

We needed some 3's and 2's to win this game. We missed a lot in the paint from what I saw. How many turnovers did SMU have today?

Probably too soon for us to try to play Mudiay :)

the Truth:
for every 3 Keith Frazier makes he gives up more for lazy perimeter defense. No doubt in my mind. Larry probably didn't play him because he's not disciplined on perimeter defense which is Temple's strength
