Confused About Our Rotation Against Temple

I don't understand today's rotation. Was someone hurt? Why did Ryan Manuel play so much today? Shouldn't Sterling Moore and Keith Frazier get Ryan's minutes? I can remember a time in the second half when Ryan was under the basket on a missed 3, literally under the basket (not guarding anyone), instead of boxing out. Sure enough Temple's McConnell got the rebound uncontested and went to the line for an easy two. We got no production from Ryan Manuel's position on the floor. I trust that Coach Brown will address this in our next game.

We gave away this game by not making free throws, not guarding the 3 point line, not rebounding on the offensive end, and missing easy put backs. Credit to Temple.

I think because Ryan did not play much against Cincinnati that Coach Brown may have wanted to give him more minutes against Rutgers and UConn. That is probably why KF did not play that much. I would have liked to have seen what he could have done in the second half.

Manuel missed 1 shot had ZERO Turnovers and actually tied for team lead with 5 Rebounds. 3 for 3 on FTs

1 which is fine with me. Also got fouled on 3 point shot and drained them all. So 2 shots-not a problem whatsoever if we rebound (-13) , offensive rebound(-8) execute in the paint (-16 -is that fair estimate of missed bunnies you'd expect us to make discounting a few misses?) defend the 3 (-18). and SMU was net -7 or 8 at FT line (10-11 if you take out Manuel). Confirmed SMU lost 15-2 in Second chance points. Still want to talk about Manual? -geez-this ain't rocket science how we lost

In 24 minutes Ryan Manuel hit 3 free throws, attempted one shot and missed. Not exactly production. We really need 8 to 10 points per game from his position. I would think that giving Ryan's minutes to Keith Frazier or Sterling Brown would sure up that position.

Box Scores do not tell the whole story. Ryan just does not look confident on the floor, he hasn't all season. Isn't that why he has not played many minutes over the past 5 or so games? I am rooting for the kid. Forget about Box Scores, watch the game. How many times did Ryan's man score? How many touches did he get on offense? I am not saying that Ryan is the reason that we lost. I am just saying that if we had any production from his position our team would have been in a much better position to win. Go Mustangs!

This loss is simple. Missed FTs and lack of rebounding.
