Think a few weeks back 24/7 Crystal Ball had Sedrick as a 100% lock for SMU. . . Of course, I'm not sure if Sedrick has visited or talked with other schools.

Probably won't see much in the way of oral commits, until after the summer AAU circuit is complete and the kids go back to school that fall.

I don't think any 2015 guards are about to commit anytime soon but it would be nice to get him on board now to get the ball rolling.

Kids a baller from L.A. Elite Cali guards generally have superior athleticism and skill . . . great school with a winning tradition and solid coaching . . .

One night at Sharkeez in MB I met one of the coaches for Compton Magic which is the AAU team Barefield plays for. Really nice guy. They played their games about ten miles from where I lived in the South Bay. I wanted to make it to a game but never did. A lot of good players come outta there.

This is in line with my question on the recruiting forum. I guess to reword I would ask why do the kids not commit earlier as the FB players do?

I have asked the same question about the Dallas area kids. If the school has everything, then why wait??

Some want to take all their visits to be sure. Especially since they have an early signing period.
