This is going to be a fun thread.
Hoop, what do you think of Crandall Head?
(Note to GRGB: I didn't say anything negative about any player in this post)

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. He's a McD...

To my untrained eye there are flashes of brilliance, but he's got plenty of room for improvement. It seems like he's handling his minimal playing time well, but I probably wouldn't know if he wasn't.

I'm curious, too. I thought he did well in the Cincinnati game, but I can't quite figure him out.

Does it have anything to do with the fact that Midterm grade reports came out last week?

I will add:
e) Still needs to work on playing within the offense and creating shots for others.
It seems Keith wants to either catch and shoot a 3 or try to create his own shot off the dribble, which I am sure he was able to do with relative ease in high school but has proven difficult thus far against high level defense. It would be a great addition to his game (and perhaps would help him get open more) if he could set others up for good shots.
Crandall is a similar story - he has made some plays, but in previous games he seemed to be trying too hard due to his limited playing time.
I have confidence that the coaching staff will keep working with both of them.

I think we should have kept leslee smith, as his skillset would have served the program better, and hed be off the books this year. head does handle and defend better than Frazier. I'd rather see Keith get his minutes, though. Fwiw, this thread wasn't meant to assassinate Keith. He's a fan favorite, we are indebted to his signature, but his jumper doesnt outweigh the aforementioned, especially when the teams complete identity is defensive.

Possibly over the last two games, but this is more a year to date thing

D) all of the above.
He has shown flashes of potential this season, but if he was a 3 star who has played exactly the way he has this season....no one would be complaining about his minutes.
He has such a loose handle and stands in one spot on offense waiting for the ball to come to him for a 3 point attempt.

Considering what Larry Brown has been saying for 2 weeks about Temple's shooters, I'd say it was probably perimeter defense. Larry was kinda prophetic on this one-(although he'll find something to worry about with every team)

He's suffering from lack of quicks/handle and cant get his shoulders even w the defender off the bounce, and hes not strong enough to create space. That combination will make you a catch n shoot player, but he doesn't move well enough off the ball. I love the kid, but he's the definition of one dimension right now

Totally Choice D.
Also can someone please teach Keith to stop flailing his legs on every jumper?

Thank you X for posting this.
Each time I've remotely posted not something glowing, people freak out.
Love KF and what his signing means to this program, but he can be tough to watch sometimes. He reminds me of an awkward gazelle or giraffe running around on the court and launching up 20 footers.
Answer to your question is D for now. Really hope he can learn and grow under LB.

He has shown some flashes both passing and in driving.
Gotta be d as why he didn't play. We need his outside shot.
I would loved to see Leslie Smith with MK, YM, and SW.
If Jones had transferred when LB first came to SMU would we have kept him. In retrospect we should have anyway.
