This is tongue and cheek but I thought it might be fun to see the superstitious things everyone does (or doesn't do) to help the Mustangs.

-I posted my RBA Opponent taunt graphic too early in the week and I picked the one with the blue background...as I've decided to do for away games. The only other time I've done that is USF...coincidence? No. Magic
-My 1 year old son wore his lucky SMU t-shirt on Sunday but I'm worried that because it is getting too small on him, it no longer works. Also, I forgot to mention it is a Home Game lucky t-shirt...damn!
-I didn't wear an SMU hat, which usually is unlucky, but perhaps it is now lucky...I also wore a Blue workout shirt while watching the game...not an official SMU shirt.
-I tuned in at 3:24 in the game. Perhaps missing tip off is unlucky...I missed the beginning of USF too...gosh, sorry.

I watched it with my parents who never see SMU games and I was excited to show them how good the team was... My parents only comments were "this is terrible".

Sorry mom and dad, no more watching the games with you.

Head Not Right with Ball

I listened to the game on 770 AM instead of watching a CBSSN stream online. Oops

I ordered the next batch of godfather shirts in blue, aka school colors, instead of black. I'm sorry

I didn't watch at all so my eye juju didn't get to Philly. Shame on me.

I got way too excited for the game. When I do that bad things happen. Plus I sent a cocky text at tip off. I should have waited.

All my teams lost this weekend including the one I play on. Weekend of doom.

I was unable to watch the game for the first time this year. I had to listen on the radio. I also didn't wear my SMU belt. We are undefeated when I have it on. A damn shame.

I was flipping back and forth with Curling. I also had impure thoughts, I was thinking about the Houston game. WE all know fans thinking about other games makes the team play like [deleted].

I was visiting friends without CBSSN, so I listened to the Philly station's broadcast on my smart phone. Should have gone to BWW. I'm sorry.

I bet on SMU (only other time in 2014 that i have done so was the USF game).

Idiot thing I did? I was "watching" the game via CBS sports app. We went up in the second half. Then, went to try and watch via streaming, and started losing it again. Then we lost. Next time? I will stick with the app.
