Where do you want SMU to land?

Postby OhioBrownFan » Mon Feb 17, 2014 6:22 pm

In the NCAA tournament if it can't be San Antonio? Interested to see what the board says on their next favorite destinations for the tourney.

These are the sites:

Second-Third Rounds
March 20, 22
First Niagara Center (Buffalo, N.Y.)
BMO Harris Bradley Center (Milwaukee)
Amway Center (Orlando, Fla.)
Veterans Memorial Arena (Spokane, Wash.)

March 21, 23
PNC Arena (Raleigh, N.C.)
AT&T Center (San Antonio) - CAN'T PICK
Viejas Arena (San Diego)
Scottrade Center (St. Louis)

I'd like Buffalo or Raleigh

1. SD - no brainer. I love So Cal
2. Raleigh - never been and PonynNC would no doubt throw a bash. Down side we'd likely face Duke or UNC
3. St Louis - short flight and they brew a lot of beer there
4. Orlando - not a big fan of FLA but Orlando isn't too bad
5. Spokane - wash state is beautiful but that'd a be long trip
6. Milwaukee and Buffalo - please, no

I'll make it to wherever I have to.

That said, outside of San Antonio, St. Louis or Raleigh work best for me. St. Louis because I could still manage that drive overnight. Raleigh because my wife's family is there and we could combine a trip we're already planning.

I really don't care though. I'd be cool with San Diego, too, but just because I've wanted an excuse to visit for a while.

Selfishly, San Diego. San Antonio probably best crowd.

I would think they would do their best to put us in San Antonio but they will also try to get an American team in Orlando since it's an American city.
