How long will Nic Moore stay?

Postby SMUstangs22 » Tue Feb 18, 2014 8:28 am

I am curious to know if this is his last year or if he will try to continue to build?

Hopefully, we get to watch him at Moody ONE more year! So much potential in next year's team.

where is he going to go? If you are implying he leaves for the NBA, you are crazy.

He just needs someone to give him a quality rest. I think the season is already dragging on him some. He has to play a little too much.

Granted he is 5 9 but his shooting mechanics give him potential at the next level. At least in the D League.

I was mainly curious because of all the posts I have seen anticipating next years starting line up. They all mentioned Mudiay at starting PG. I would not be shocked if he shares the back court as a SG and we can run the offense through a him in a high pick and roll.

I was curious if there was something I did not know about Moore's prospects in future years.

Not to mention the post regarding Barefield's commitment. They are describing him as Mudiay's replacement but Nic Moore would still have a year of eligibility during Barefield's freshman season.

Has anyone ever left early to play in the D League? (if they have the grades to stay in school)

He won't leave early. He and Mudiay will both start next year which is a scary good backcourt. We need someone to step up at the 3 - whether it is Sterling, Keeeeeeeith, or someone new remains to be seen. With Moreira, Kennedy, Cunningham, Ben Moore inside and the remote possibility of Myles Turner or other recruits, we have great front court depth next year (even without adding Turner or anyone else)

We aren't allergic to having two high-quality guys who can run the point, are we?

You are misunderstanding me. I too thought the sound of him departing early sounded absurd. I agree the 3 spot needs to be filled with either KF or Brown I was just confused because all of the posts I read were leaving Moore out. Wanted to make sure there was not an underlying uniform cause for this that I was not aware of.

Absolutely not. I wouldn't have it any other way. It gives us plenty of options.

No wonder why TROLLS love to come on here. Everyone plays right into his hands. Nic Moore isn't going anywhere and that shouldn't even be brought up on here. For that matter why not start a thread saying how long will anyone stay??
