Coach of the Year?

There are few, if any, who have found much to complain about when it comes to the job Larry Brown has done at SMU. He has been mentioned as a candidate for national Coach of the Year consideration, but there are some who have said that Syracuse's Jim Boeheim would be hard to beat if the Orange ran the table and completed an undefeated season.
With Syracuse losing today, where does Brown rank among the candidates?

LOVE Brown, but he trails Fisher and Marshall (at least).

Agreed about Fisher, at least, but Syracuse losing helps the LB argument, at least.

I think Cronin gets a lot of support also.

I'd vote for Brown but I'm biased.
I said earlier that we had to keep up our pace if Brown was to win COTY. Losing at Temple didn't help. He has to be a candidate, but at this point, he needs to do something special, like beat UConn, Louisville, and Memphis, or possibly win the AAC tourney.
But the great thing about Larry Brown is that I believe that he, more than anybody, doesn't give a damn about this award.

Think an article last week talked about Coach Brown being someone that should be considered for coach of the year.
