I know Hoppmanx is high on Gilder. He seems like a true scorer, which is exactly what we need. I'm going to see if Madison plays this weekend. If so, I'm going to check him out.

I need a kid who can score on all 3 levels, which is why I like him more than some of our other prospects

I noticed that watching his ballislife clips...although those highlight clips can be deceiving. That's why I wanna see him live.

AHHh RLT, my old high school. I think I will change my plans to that game instead of seeing Elijah play at Lake Highlands.
Thanks LA Mustang for the info.

If you're able to go, give us a report. I don't think I'm going to make it.

A few area playoff games tonight featuring SMU recruits:

Madison (Gilder) vs. Wilmer Hutchins
6:30p at Ellis Davis Field House

Plano West (Hogg) vs. Rich Berkner
7:30p at Culwell Center

Also, one in East Texas
Lancaster (Thomas) vs. Whitehouse
7:30p at Trinity Valley CC in Athens

I'm going to the Madison game. I'll be wearing my blue SMU pullover if you decide to make it.

Sloppy game between Madison and WH tonight but I really like Gilder's game. He doesn't force anything and he's very smooth. His shot wasn't falling so he started driving. Has quick first step and was getting to rim easily against a very quick team. I was surprised by his passing ability. He probably had 6-8 assists. Very well rounded player on the offensive end. Jank and Ulric were there.

Nice. Really cool you are going to these games. I hope you are decked in SMU gear head to toe. Represent!

Keep the reports comin'!
