it matters because people are camping out for tickets, it increases the home court noise and improves the moody madness atmosphere. if these people can't use the tickets donate them back to SMU who can resell them or donate them. When I lived in Philly we had company tickets to professional sports. often the person in charged of the tickets bogarted them. at last minute I would retrieve tickets and give to co-workers or a bartender who can always find someone to go.
I bet SMU could get some marketing majors to stubhub them. I can't accept, that the hottest ticket in Dallas, can be used by someone.
