UNC was unranked and it was the first time an unranked UNC team beat a ranked team since 1990.

Actually unranked UNC beat #25 Pitt last week

Interesting notes ESPN just noted…

UNC is first team since AP poll began in 1961 to beat all 4 of the top pre season top 4.

UNC first unranked win vs ranked Duke since 2003.

UNC is 5-1 vs ranked teams this year.

and most interesting, Duke is 21-6, 14-0 at home, and 7-6 on road/neutral games this season.

Larry Brown said they don't rush the court at UCLA and they don't rush the court at Kansas, but he never said anything about North Carolina! I guess UNC is not on the same level as those two programs lol!
