I'm sorry, I'm not an insider. Can you post a copy, or summerize?

Best $33 bucks I've spent.

Southern Methodist Mustangs

Think of SMU as a lil' Ohio State. In just his second season in Dallas, Larry Brown has his team playing some of the best defense to be found anywhere in the American. And in a league with defenses the caliber of Cincinnati's and Louisville's, that is high praise indeed. Conference opponents have made just 43 percent of their 2s against this D, and whether it's Markus Kennedy or Cannen Cunningham, the Mustangs have an effective rim protector on the floor more or less at all times.

That being said, one interesting facet to note about Brown's scheme is that he's unusually comfortable with opponents attempting 3-point shots. Relative to the respective in-conference averages, no defense from one of the nation's top seven leagues has allowed more attempts from beyond the arc. Assuming the Mustangs' opponent doesn't catch fire from the perimeter, however, SMU projects to be a very dangerous middle-of-the-pack team in the NCAA tournament.

I wonder how much playing ahead with a double digit lead would lend itself to teams firing 3's against us. It seems we have had the lead in a lot of games this year. Also to say we would be vulnerable to a good shooting 3 point team is a joke. I believe we would adjust accordingly. If a team/player gets hot from behind the arch, there isn't much anyone can do about it.

When you can't make 2's your only option is a 3.
Back off Warchild seriously.
