But this is the reason why you take as many visits as you can, they're extremely fun trips even if you aren't seriously considering a school or won't end up there. Jalen knew he wouldn't go to any of the schools he visited but he went on the OVs anyways.

actually very few kids actually go on all their official visits. In fact few go on more than 2-3 because they get tired of the disruption in their lives. These days a bunch commit before ever going on an official visit-then take one later. They certainly can but its unusual. Note Turner is about the last big time player in his Class that HASN'T committed
