Arkansas mentioned as last four in w wins over Kentucky and SMU by ESPN. Never thought I would hear that.

They swept Kentucky

I was watching with my OU buddies and I mentioned something to them when they showed SMU as a quality win for Arkansas.

I heard it - good wins over SMU...yada yada..

Not good for us really.

UVA loss kinda stings right now just because we were so close.....nowhere near as bad as temple and USF, but that one still has me thinking back

I think it makes SMU look better - it shows we could play with Arkansas and/or Kentucky.

We are one of the big boys now with a target on our back.

But it moves Ark in from the bubble. We are playing for a good seed now. need our closest rivals to fall not rise.

I disagree. If we were right on the bubble I would want other bubble teams to lose, ie Arkansas. However, assuming we do not collapse we are clear of them so net it helps us for them to win.

Plus, look up instead of down. Maybe we could pass Kentucky if they lost another own and we kept winning.

I wasn't impressed by either team. Too often both got into the out of control schoolyard up and down game. I think now, with our much improved and disciplined team, we beat both Kentucky and the Beloved Razorbacks.
Our D changes both teams game plans now. And we have experience against better quality teams now than when we faced the Beloved Razorbacks.
