I meant to say "alone" in 3rd place now that Memphis has lost.

UCF won't be a walk in the park.

We barely beat Houston. Don't take UCF for granted. Respect everyone but fear no one.

We were up by ten with under a minute. They hit a couple prayers. I wouldn't call that barely.

This. When we played at UCF, we didn't pull away until their best player got hurt. Easily could have been a Temple or USF

It was a close game at home where we usually blow out teams. They know they better play hard because Sykes will be healthy for the entire game. Now I hope it is a blowout but it could be another Houston type game. I think our teams know they better be ready.

. . . one interesting facet to note about Brown’s scheme is that he’s unusually comfortable with opponents attempting 3-point shots. Relative to the respective in-conference averages, no defense from one of the nation’s top seven leagues has allowed more attempts from beyond the arc. Assuming the Mustangs’ opponent doesn’t catch fire from the perimeter, however, SMU projects to be a very dangerous middle-of-the-pack team in the NCAA tournament.”

a 2nd place finish would allow us to play a team that had 1 game prior to the 2nd round.

#7-10 have first round games. Would be the difference in playing winner of #7v#10 (Rutgers/Temple) or #6 (Houston)
