This. When we played at UCF, we didn't pull away until their best player got hurt. Easily could have been a Temple or USF

It was a close game at home where we usually blow out teams. They know they better play hard because Sykes will be healthy for the entire game. Now I hope it is a blowout but it could be another Houston type game. I think our teams know they better be ready.

Relative to the respective in-conference averages, no defense from one of the nation’s top seven leagues has allowed more attempts from beyond the arc. Assuming the Mustangs’ opponent doesn’t catch fire from the perimeter, however, SMU projects to be a very dangerous middle-of-the-pack team in the NCAA tournament.â€

#7-10 have first round games. Would be the difference in playing winner of #7v#10 (Rutgers/Temple) or #6 (Houston)
