Didn't see Yanick getting any minutes. Is he still injured?

No but we will need him against Louisville.

He's not going to get major minutes if he didn't play tonight. This injury is obviously a major issue. Much bigger than they're letting on.

He has trouble playing defense and making quick moves in practice....not good.

LB addressed it twice in the presser. Said Yanick is fine, just didn't get in tonight. Will be needed and will play Wednesday.

I was disappointed he didn't get some minutes. SMU is not dominating the boards these days

He must be injured still. From starter to DNP coaches decision in four weeks? Don't think so.

Exactly. That's coach speak from Larry today. He's injured pretty badly whatever it is. You don't sit your second best player for the whole game without a good reason especially when you're trying to get him back in the flow for conference tourney and NCAA tourney. That's not the way it works. I really wish they'd just release whether he's gonna be healthy again this year or not.

If you were a coach, why would you release that? Wouldn't it be better to make opponents wonder if he's healthy or not?
He could be 100% or done for the year, and it would be surprising to see LB let on, either way.

almost every player on the team has improved as the season has progressed including guys like Manual, Russell etc who many questioned-quite impressive. Injury has prevented that coaching progression with regard to Moreria. Unfortunately, Moreria, from what I saw in the early games, is the guy who could really raise the competitive level of the team. Too bad if he is still physically struggling. Its unbelievable SMU has gone as far as it has with Moreria out

Larry said in press conference that he should have played Yanick and that Yanick will 100% play vs Louisville.

So what, he's going to play 5 minutes? That should have him back in shape and ready for the postseason. I'd be willing to put a bet on him not playing more than 5 minutes if at all.
