We've come a long way since the Garland days earlier this season.....it seems like so long ago
Maybe that's cause the team looks so much different and has improved so much over the season.
Very excited for Louisville, Memphis, and the post season.

Like it was yesterday:

'We're gonna play man, and we're gonna pick you up at the airport!'

That pic reminded me of J Frog. Just looked him up, he's playing at Tennessee Tech averaging 10 pts and 5 assist per game. TT is 9-7 in conference and they start their tourney tomorrow. I'm rooting for that guy.

I keep hearing that were better now than we were in garland. I don't get that, we smoked fools, running and dunking. We played a top 10 team even and didn't have a bad loss

Testament to the value of a healthy Yanick?

Maybe he means from a crowd standpoint

Maybe, but on the court we're w/o Yanick. Defies logic

We struggled mightily against TCU and later on smoked Cincinnati at home.

I was at the Garland games ... Ben Moore was proving his worth from day one, Nic Moore was good, but people like Kennedy and Sterling Brown hadn't reached their full potential yet. Those were also the days when we still had high hopes for KF.
Anyway, those Garland games seem like a years ago. Do not miss the CCC one bit.

My biggest question after the first few games in Garland was - "are we actually good or are we just significantly more athletic than everyone else?" My question was answered while watching the Virginia game. If we played that game today I think we would win.

Agreed. That was my biggest question as well. Sorta surprised how good UVA has ended up being.

I bet the Corpus Christi Challenge marketing staff really wishes that game could be played now, since we are both so highly ranked. That game would sell
