Game NOT on ESPN at all

So I just went through my dvr to record the game and noticed that the smu Louisville game is not on any of the espn networks. Espn 2 is showing duke v wake, espnu is showing UCONN v Rutgers .
We are stuck on cbssn. Would of thought 18 v 11 would trump a meaningless acc game.

Basketball tv times are set early in the year. They do not wait until 10 days before the games like they do in football. I doubt many programmers anticipated this game to be as hyped as it is.

Agreed. Plus, why would the cbs channel want to give up the game.

Wednesday nights are an NBA night for ESPN. CBSSports has 3 college games on tonight

I am delighted. ESPN News and U are not in high def on Dish. CBSSports is.

I was wondering why ESPN was hyping Colorado vs. Stanford last night and not us. Then I heard our game mentioned on CBS Sports. Duds vs. Studs...

I honestly don't know so don't shoot me, but
ESPN is with ABC. If I was with CBS and trying to build a name sports network and I had this game there is no way I would want ESPN to get ahold of this. What is the deal with the contract, does ESPN get to take certain games from CBS Sports?

It is my understanding that ESPN owns the rights to all of our conference games (maybe more) but sells the games they don't want at the beginning I the year. At the beginning of the year nobody dreamed that this would be a matchup between 2 top-25 teams, otherwise I'm sure ESPN would have kept it

The duke wake Forrest game on espn 2 would be great to watch ...in the 90s. Espn loves duke. They can't have enough of them. I get the interest but they f'ed up here. They always knew our game would be a match up of 2 hof coaches.
Personally I don't mind CBS except for me I don't get their hd channel unfortunately.
