Since all of us, even including stupid little old me, seem to know more than Coach Brown on occasion, I pose this question. With Nic's ankle being very bad according to Brown, and now that finishing first in the AAC is not an option, do you sit Nic for Memphis and maybe even the conference tourney in an effort to get him back full strength for the NCAA, or do you ride him till he drops?
Brown indicated in the press conference the ankle was very bad and they thought of not playing him. If you noticed, when he went back in late he handled the ball but never shot. It has to be affecting him and we need him if we want to advance in the NCAA regardless of where we are seeded.

I have forgotten more basketball than you will ever know.
You play him. Maybe not hard but play him. He needs to contiune to work through his injury (actually, there are some pretty good studies showing working through injuries decreases, not increases the recovery period).
Maybe LB plays more subs against Memphis. We could kinda lok at Memphis as a 'preseason' game for the Tourney.

If working through reduces the recovery time, why do a lot of kids get put in walking boots these days? Someone posted Nic is walking around in a boot during the days.

Seems like him not shooting as much had more to do with Louisville's defense being in his face. That last game in Louisville they were in his face and I think he core under 10 points then too. Just my take on it. As far as playing him, I guess that would have more to do wit how his ankle responds in practice over the next couple of days.

Walking boot during the day. Not during the game.
