Did you expect something different??

Being realistic - did you expect to win the final two games of the year? Home to the defending natl champs and on the road vs Memphis?
I didn't.
So I'm not freaked out by what's happened.
We're a year ahead of schedule, IMO, which has made this year so special.
No expectations heading into the seasons made this all a complete surprise.
Bottom line, we're still going to the NCAA tournament despite these last two losses.

Thought SMU might have a chance at home against Louisville, until Memphis beat them a couple of days before. . . Also, Louisville played out of their @$$e$ against SMU

Both Louisville and Memphis did this in the second half against us.
Why was MK out most of the game?

Not a loser attitude, but just pragmatic.
Except for UCONN we have looked dreadful against half-decent competition on the road.
I love our home court advantage, but if you held a gun to my head before that Louisville game, I wouldn't have picked us. (mind you, though we would lose by 2 or 3, not double digits)
Everyone else have fun freaking out, though.

Its fantastic, but our expectations have changed. It's been fun watching them develop. Everyone is thrilled but making early season type mistakes.

Hate limping into the tourney with back-to-back losses with our horrid tourney history, but the fact that there is even March activity on PFans is remarkable. I'll take it.

I expected to show up against Memphis. I expected less sloppy play. I expected our team to listen to LB in the huddle instead of watching whatever video was playing on the scoreboard with under 4 minutes left.
