What's Up with Brown?

I have to congratulate everything Coach Brown has done for the program, but the last few games have been horrible. It isn't that we are overachieving, I think we have the personnel to win.
I think we have been out-coached, specifically with matchups as other have mentioned.
What do we need to do in order to make a deep conference run?
Do you think he is doing this to get a more favorable seeding in the tournament? I hope he knows something we don't lol.
Btw I think Yanick looked good. Hope he plays more

We are far exceeding everyone's preseason dreams and now someone thinks losing to memphis and louisville must be intentional or incompetent coaching. Ridiculous, but in a good way

I am not sure either. I am a bit confused. You could tell chemistry was terrible.

I thought we were going to have a good team this year. With the returning 5 starters from last season (now minus Jalen), getting 3 spectacular transfers (Kennedy, Yanick M., and Moore) that had a year to learn the system and practice with the team, and the number 14 recruiting class.
The thing I am frustrated with is that we haven't gotten better as the season has progressed. With good coaching, the team should get better with each game--that is a hallmark of Brown coaching. Instead, the team has regressed.

WOW! One bad week and SMU has regressed. . . Seriously there are some stupid threads after an SMU loss

I had a feeling this was coming. The team didn't exactly play well either. Too much panic about road loss to Memphis on Senior Day after gut punch loss against Louisville

LHS- I don't think it is necessarily a regression but the last couple of weeks the team doesn't seem to have the energy and motivation that it had previously. Is that a problem with the players, coaches, both? who knows. I am not trying to point the blame at anybody just stating an opinion. Maybe we just peaked too early.

When you find a team that has played 31 games at a "high energy" level. . . Let me know. Although, I guess you could make a case for Wichita St in the Cupcake Valley Conference.

The man ain't perfect but there's nothing "up with Brown".
Starting a thread for this a little over the top, IMO.

Young team, long season, tough match ups.

I just can't buy this, I think Larry's system has elevated these players to a much higher level. We've been watching a skinny Junior college center, a midget point guard and a guy that was legitimately overweight when he arrived on campus mixed in with some freshman and guys that couldn't cut it at Big12 programs climb their way to an 18 ranking in the AP poll, that's a coaching masterpiece to me.
I'll forever have a place in my heart for this group, but let's see what happens when Larry really gets some experienced premiere athletes on the court. Our defense will suffocate people

exactly-and preferably at Moody
Just remember its pretty common for SMU to put a team on the floor of players who never played with each other before this year. Its pretty damn miraculous to me we have beaten 4 Top 25 teams. How many Top 25 teams has SMU beaten on the road on their Senior Day in your life. Move on-the future is bright as hell

Not having more than one perimeter player doesn't help but we are going to recruit some. Beat Houston.

Regular +5 min lulls in scoring with funky line-ups at the end of the season will get you criticism, hall-of-fame coach or not
