16 mins
2-6 from field for 4 points
5 rebounds
2 blocks

After all the wondering if we'd ever see him again this season, was nice to see him moving around the court.

Definitely helped. Glad to have him back and at a level that is solid. This was a tough game and for him to look good is encouraging.

didn't look like his career was done. He's moving pretty damn good. He still needs to get more physical in the off-season by hitting the weightroom. But he defended the basket well and does change some shot. Tragedy that he wasn't able to develop his game as the season progressed though. Still don't understand why he wasn't given major minutes at UCF rather than in a tough situation at Memphis.

Thought the same thing, but honestly was just relieved to see he was running around and didn't seem gimpy. We can def use him during conf & NCAA tournaments.

Yanick, Ben Moore, Sterling Brown, and Keith Frazier all need to hit the weight room after the season

he really needed a full year to develop since he was in JUCO last year and poor high school competition.

I hope he holds up, great to see him out there. He is tough for our opponents in the paint. Much better than Cannen on D. He knows his role when he's out there. He practiced during the entire session yesterday. Just going to be a struggle for Larry to figure out minutes as usual. Moore is becoming a turnover machine.

Yes, Nice to see.

So, LB was telling us the truth after all, he was just having trouble finding him the minutes.

I'm finding myself agreeing with Stallion here . . . as usual.

I'm getting a little tired of the "figuring out minutes" line. I know it doesn't really matter what I think, but it's kind of simple to me:

Starters:
Yanick
MK
Sterling
Russell
Nic

Next:
Cannen
B. Moore
Shawn Williams
Russell
Manuel

Sub in Keith and Manuel and Crandall based on how they are doing/game time situations, etc.

And heavy rotations and the type of rotations kind of depending on game time situations but generally this is the lineup.

This please! We are a much better team this way on both ends of the floor.

Yanick's presence back there is huge. It's too bad he had to miss so much time. Mk and Yanick together whenever possible. Cannen and MK together when it's not. When MK sits you're got a choice to make between Ben and SW depending on the situation.

Sounds good to me. I think LB gets a little too loyal and emotional over minutes. Shawns' a Senior therefore he get minutes. Head scratcher. He's been playing pretty bad lately. You sit him.

Bottom line, if Yanick has been healthy, like brown has been saying, and yet hasn't played, that's a huge mistake. I know he's been hurt, but he was under-utilized before the injury.

What are your Cannen thoughts?

I like Cannen and Ben Moore, as both have stepped up at certain times. Both fill that 3 &4th bigs role behind Yanick and MK. Problem is that Shawn is getting far too many quality minutes en lieu of Cannen, Ben and Yanick. Also, I'm never going to understand the lack of Yanick and MK on the court at the same time. We saw it once this season, and it was a dominant look vs the eventual ACC champion.

I'd love to see that against UH. UH is physical and we need some rebounds lately, esp. against Thomas.
MK surprises me with his athleticism sometimes. He can matchup at the 4 just fine.
