Great exposure for LB, top sports radio show in NYC by a mile.

LB doing a lot of shows. Good for him. I hope he's preparing these guys to ball out, too.

Is this his agent, our SID, or just national interest + LB's willingness to talk to everyone?

Him talking a few minutes on a show will not affect prep work in practice or out of practice. But it does help exposure to recruits.

Definitely big for recruiting. Google SMU and all you see is larry brown and SMU basketball.
Best marketing tool SMU has had since the death penalty.

I heard some of the interview as I just happened to get in my car and the radio was tuned into WFAN.
Larry and Mike go back to Larry's NY Knicks days so my guess is that Francessa just dialed him up. He talks to a lot of college coaches during championship week.
The good thing about LB and his long and winding career is that he has made friends just about everywhere.
He is leveraging this quite effectively for SMU's benefit. As he said in one of the two interviews today
( WFAN And PTI) "I want to go to the final four....not just this year, EVERY YEAR. "
Music to recruits ears. Music to alumni ears. Music to students ears..

Wrong- his goal is to just get that big check into the bank without any effort on his part.
Sorry- PNC- needed to add that comment
and now back to our regularly scheduled sponsor.

Where is Mustangabu to criticize you for criticizing June?

LB is a hall of fame coach and he has had immediate success at his new job. The story sells itself without needing his agent/sid

Someone has to book him though. Give some love to the athletics PR folks. Great story and they're selling the hell out of it.
