Not a big surprise. We have a team with huge depth so we don't rely on just a few players. We spread out the scoring and play team defense. Perhaps next year we have individuals that make this list. But I am happy with our team effort and where it has taken us this year.

Why do you think Larry will get COY when he didn't even get it for our conference? That is the only one that jumps off the page as incorrect if you look at these fairly. No idea how you would pick the little leprechaun over LB based on where their team is vs expectations.

I didn't see that in the first post. Was it added?

Anyway, ok, yeah then I definitely amend my previous statement. That is downright criminal that he didn't get COY!

Yeah they need to get that chip on their shoulder back. "can't win against quality teams on the road", "only beat a few top 100 RPI teams", "only get props because of LB", "definitely over-rated". Great bulletin board material that I've seen tweeted out a few times from a few different people.

Should be plenty of material to work with here for motivation. I liked NR interview, he talked about the "chip on the shoulder". I guess they figured SMU was already getting enough exposure. Let's get some more Stangs! Take it to Coog High, then keep rolling!

Because of the electorate.

I thought SMT claimed it was a no-brainer that LB would be COY.....

Yeah, I tend to agree. But Kilpatrick is better than all of them, although he IS about 30 years old. :-)

Suppose you could have done a 3-way with Smith, Napier, and Kilpatrick. But, I guess they don't like doing that. . . I dunno! I guess I just have 3-way on my mind
