Anyone heard anything? I've seen the Adidas teams and their tourney uni's getting heavy promotion. Nike doing anything? SMU included?

That was only an Adidas thing I think. I don't think Nike or UA will do the same.

I see that Baylor has them. Is it even a given that they'll even MAKE the tourney?

Our uniforms were pretty bland this year IMO. I'd like to see us get something a little more distinctive but still classy next year. Certainly we've earned it with all the publicity we've gotten this year

Good, and I hope they just play one game anyway (the one they lose in their Big12 conference opener). Are they projected to even make the NCAA tourney?

You could for sure call them a 'bubble team'..depends on what they do in the Big 12 tourney.....

They can wear the jersey's if they don't have "Sic'Em" on it. The phrase was ruled out not the uniforms.

Real big time uniforms are definitely one of the missing pieces here still. For hoops, I agree these jerseys are really clean, and I don't want to stray too far from that, but no names on the back just screams small time, it can't happen next year.

Also, its weird that we have that big ring of space where most programs put some sort of faint light grey design on the back, but nothing in there (in case you dont know what I'm talking about, see link)

I think that's a good spot to throw in a little unique flair without making too bold of statement

No names on the back is not small time, it is Larry Brown. Many traditional programs do not have names on the back including Indiana.

No name on the back is a culture statement. "No individuals here, just one team". I have mixed feelings about it. Love the concept. Definitely not "small time" though.
