Posted: Thu Mar 13, 2014 3:09 pm2 of the three top twenty teams - one of the a top ten team who had to shoot 57% three pointers to beat us, and oh yeah they are defending national champions. Be depressed about UH loss - that was stupid. THe other two were as predictable as could be and you should not be depressed about those. Next year is a different matter assuming we get at least one big who can help us relieve pressure.

Posted: Thu Mar 13, 2014 7:27 pmI think we've reached a level where we all had high expectations for the AAC tourney so yes, this was a depressing day. Really wanted that re-match with Louisville. Now I'm just hoping for a tourney bid and at least an opportunity to salvage a 1st round win. My expectations for this season have been lowered but looking forward to great things in the future with SMU hoops

Yes no doubt it's been a great season.
But I certainly didn't think we might close out the season with 4 straight losses!
I had Houston penciled in as a "win" that would avert
a nightmare finish to an otherwise wonderful season.
Now the way we are playing I am very worried the "4 straight losses" could actually happen.
I guess with the big wins earlier I got too excited.

PonyinNC is pretty handy with a pencil... he penciled in enough wins to win my bowl pickem contest.

Posted: Fri Mar 14, 2014 1:53 pmWe shouldn't have lost to UH but we lost to a VERY strong Louisville team at home and a very good Memphis team at their place. Hardly "2 consecutive losses" to get worried about...
