"@fishsports: Source: look for nati recruit C Myles Turner of Arlington - a likely 1-&-done - to sign w @SMUBasketball" mike fisher tweeted this a few minutes ago. He has 15k followers so some credibility. Omar majzoub says that he texted myles about it and he replied "no commitments yet"

Wow, I don't think Fish is prone to going out on a limb.
But he referring to Myles as being from Arlington gives me pause.

Mike fisher 105.3TheFan son. He is generally credible especially with cowboys and mavs stuff.

If Fisher said it, I put some weight on it. He is actually a real old school journalist not just some typical neophyte blogger.

yip, he had a Sports talk show on KLIF 570AM around same time as Norm Hitzges and Wally Lynn(former SMU play by play announcer).
Fisher always a good analyst. Recently added to the Fan 103.3 in Dallas.
BTW, where is Wally Lynn? I miss his SportsBrothers show with Leon Simon, especially miss his Beavis and Butthead show openers.

Fisher is obviously very plugged in with pro sports, particularly mavs and cowboys, but he does not seem as plugged in with college. I would guess he heard this from an NBA source.
Obviously he could be wrong, but he usually is not so definitive about things unless he is certain.
