Late season momentum (or lack of) IS NOT supposed to be a factor for the Tournament. Look at our body of work, versus some of the other at larges and there is no way we are NOT IN.
Team loses 3-Games (2 Against Great Teams) and we are acting like we may not make the NIT.
Unlike football, we have a great coach and this team has beaten good teams.

I agree, we were dogs in the Ville and Memphis games. Houston hurt but they are talented. i think we were tied or ahead at halftime in all three games too, so not like we completely spit the bit or anything. Michigan State was in a serious slump two weeks ago. And Iowa is still in one,how are they not on the bubble????? Momentum counts for some teams but not others is probably the truth.

Great comments. Not sure why people were do suicidal after losing to 1 of the top teams in the country, a top 25 team away, and a team many expected us to split with at the beginning of the season.
If you had said at the beginning of season that we would only be swept by Louisville at the beginning of the season, and especially after the Arky loss, I don't think many on this board would have believed it. We are playing with house money, IMO.

agreed. sweeping UConn? you would have been laughed off the board for suggesting that earlier in the year.
The team deserves a spot - and i actually think they deserve to not have a round 1 game.
