Jon Rothstein and Pete Gillen both just said it was an absolute travesty that SMU didn't get in the tourney.

I like Pete Gillen.

They just went off again on it. Gillen said we should be over NC St and Rothstein said we should've got in over BYU. I love how Rothstein ended it "If you've seen SMU play, you know they should be in the field."

I feel so much better. Can one you lawyers do something useful and sue the selection committee? They should be held accountable. Thanks.

Kansas grad here, from before the time Coach Brown was at KU. I've followed SMU BB since you picked Coach Brown. Hella year. And, yeah, I think you got jobbed big time.
Still a year to be extraordinarily proud of. Hope your NIT run helps make up for the slight.

Can't blame ESPN for selling the rights of some of our best games to CBS Sports

nice comments but it should be noted that Gillen draws a paycheck from the AAC, at least indirectly. I wish somebody on the committee did.

On the bright side, we are getting more press by being snubbed than if we would have made the tourney (silver linings keeping me sane)

What's the phrase? Any publicity is good publicity? Don't think for a minute that the SMU public affairs office, or SID for that matter, won't be busy making lemonade out these lemons.

Not sure. Did you see how many cameras were at Moody?
