That was just a recording of his comments on CBS earlier. Nothing new.

Since I didn't see his comments anywhere else on the board I thought I would post them. You don't have to be a jerk about it because some might be hearing this for the first time.

He was not being a jerk. Tough day, no need for name calling.

I think he was. I still would have posted this info since I didn't see it anywhere else.

Given b_caesar's other posts today in which he baited someone who was just venting about the tournament snub, I think it makes sense to think he was doing something similar here. For what it's worth, I hadn't seen the comments yet, so I appreciated Rebel10 posting here.

In my defense, I was not trying to be a jerk - truly was nothing new for me:

Lots of posts have been pretty emotional tonight - not all unwarranted, of course. Although it's plain many of them were made while in varying states of impairment.

That says nothing about the next closest team being 96 nor the chairman's comments about the eyeball test. So some of the info was new.

Yep and who else did UConn play? When you sweep a team they better do twice as good as you just to even up.

Okay, so the only thing I didn't mention in that post was the eyeball test. And it was 91, not 96.

FWIW, if you take NC St's OOC RPI and put is next to our OOC RPI and order it from biggest to smallest, it looks like this:
NCst SMU
335 315
318 311
301 306
229 279
217 273
164 265
153 197
123 154
102 145
99 135
48 113
41 68
19 10
(165) (198) (Average OOC RPI)

We both had 3 stinkers (300+), but after that theirs dropped considerably.

DISCLAIMER-I still think we got hosed and I'm very upset about it; just trying to look at it as unbiased as I can
