Not saying I agree with the committee logic, but if you do, the Houston game didn't matter and short of getting the automatic bid, we were baked weeks, if not months ago b/c of our SOS.
Hard to believe. Such a nebulous process and politicking had to do us in.

Love that an ACC AD sits in front of a camera, tells us UVA is a 1 seed, Louisville (!!!) is a 4 seed, and a garbage-a*s NCSU team is more deserving than the AAC #3 team. Absolute horsesh*t.

Coach K was complaining that the ACC should get more teams in and he got want he wanted. NC State shouldn't have made it nor should Iowa imo.

So SMU finished with 3 straight losses and misses. Iowa list 6 of last 7 and made it. SMU with 4 top 50 wins, Iowa with 5. Same RPI ranking
