The three mistakes made by the committee

I watched as many of the bracket shows on last night - ESPN family, CBSSN and NBC Sports - as I could. The three mistakes the committee made that I heard over and over were - the SMU snub, Louisville getting a 4 seed (every analyst said Louisville is top 5 team in the country and most had them in their final four) and that the remaining three AAC bids were all put in the same region, the East. As Stallion posted, the fact that we did not have a voice in the room killed us. But that still doesn't excuse the committee. There's no doubt there was someone, or some group with something against our conference on the committee.

I knew we were in trouble when only one bracket remained and only Louisville had been included. How they decided to put all 3 AAC teams in the same region is beyond me. Especially since Memphis is not even an Eastern team!!!

AAC needs to make a statement. Unbelievable. Lville got screwed with an extremely hard region. I still think they will make it to Dallas

If we go out and lay a turd on Wednesday, the NCAA selection committee will be able to say that we didn't belong after all...............

I disagree. A loss Wednesday could be attributed to the huge let down and short turn around to play. It will, however, speak to the character of the team that Brown has addressed. They need to man up and play mad rather than feeling sorry for themselves.

I think the only real statement that the AAC can make is for Memphis, Cincy, UCONN, and Louisville to win a LOT of games - I will be pulling for all of them.
I wonder how much it hurt us that Houston also beat Memphis and UCONN at home - I would think that would take away a little from the importance of our wins against Memphis and UCONN. If Houston can beat them, and we can't beat Houston on a neutral court, maybe our wins somehow were not as meaningful.

The team and fandom hurt enough as it is. Stop it.

Looking forward to Wednesday's game. Great to be back in Moody this year

So now it's our team and not yours? Good riddance. Bye bye!

No kidding. It's not meaningless to me. Stay home and let the real fans show up. You sound like a potential Miami Heat fan. They'll probably be playing Wednesday night so watch them. We'll be at Moody supporting our school.
