NIT Talk

OK, I have less interest in the Big Dance now and much more interest in the NIT. So here is a little NIT talk

I like that we are in the conversation.

Interesting how many auto qualifiers (regualr season conference champs) are in the NIT and only one is a higher than 4 seed (LaTech).

According to Sagarin we have the best rating in the field.

For some reason, our #8 seed is the highest rated #8 in the field by 6.75 points??

UC Irvine is rated higher that the lowest rated seed by 12 points!

What is up with that?
 :?

Just beat UCI and we are one step closer to NYC.

Oh, and a NYC trip for our team would be great. They would love it.

This morning inthe LR paper, we are favored by 9.5

We are favored to win the NIT with 5:1 odds. UCI is 1000:1 and Arkyland is 10:1

Lots of articles in the LR paper mentioning the SMU snub. To be honest, this is the most SMU atheletic news coverage I have ever seen in the LR paper.

Of course not. Even in the middle of summer, when absolutely nothing is going on, the above the crease bolded headline with full color pic on the front page of the sports section will be about the Beloved Razorbacks' drum major.

But we did get more pub that Arkansas State.
