I've been gone for a while but lurking in the shadows as SMU basketball has accomplished great things! It pains me that SMU has been handed a pair of 2s for this post season. Nobody expected it and could have turned into a great story line even with a win or two and having the final 4 at Jerry World. It was great to see the entire Dallas community get behind SMU basketball. I only wish I was there for a game this past season to experience such a turnaround. SMU got screwed and the City of Dallas did too. Lunardi had it right (except for SMU/NC State) and it only shows that the selection process is much more of a political process that what I had been led to believe. I hope we play with a chip on our shoulder from here on out. We shouldn't lose games like Houston towards the end of the season.
