-the first game in NIT is going to be as difficult to coach as it gets. We had different expectations."
-can't get a read on the team yet, but they practiced hard yesterday
-we haven't faced adversity well all year. We have to grow up. Adversity will happen in everything you do and it's how you deal with it.
-we got slighted by the NCAA, we have a lot of things to feel bad about. But now it's over, lets play in the NIT and get better.
-I don't know how they picked this, I don't know what their criteria was. I know we weren't represented on that board. The ACC was.
-We beat Houston, we're in. Beat Louisville, we're in. Our PG was hurt. The committee didn't factor these things in. We didn't lose badly to anyone. We had the ball to beat Virginia. We beat Wyoming at Wyoming when their best player was healthy. They beat San Diego St. The committee should factor things like this.
-We're still growing as a program. Just thrilled we have this new facility and an interest in this city
-next year at this time, hopefully we will get a great seed and move forward.
-Asked about Madison Square Garden and going back there- I would just be happy for the kids to get there. We are playing a good team the first game. They have a 7'6 center. They won their conference. Can you imagine how disappointed they are? I just want our kids to get ready and HOPE THAT PEOPLE SHOW UP. They are a huge part of our program.

Great interview. Just love how LB approaches the media, humble but assertive and confident in the pints he wants to make. Makes a pint and always comes back yo emphasize his major message.

Did anyone else think that the MSG question seemed a little bit loaded? I thought LB played it off well, making it all about the kids

I really like Norm as an interviewer. Thought the interview was solid.
