(1) Coach K needs to stfu about ACC bids. He's done this every year for fifteen years. Were there seasons when the ACC got screwed? Yes. (They tended to correspond to years when the ACC was weakly or not-at-all represented on the Committee.) But it's not his job and there's no way he has the time to adequately compare SMU, NC State, and BYU, for example.

(2) When (not if) SMU plays Duke, there's no question that I'm for SMU. I've been a fan longer, SMU needs it more, lots of reasons. I hope that game comes soon.

(3) In line with (2), Hart should be looking for opportunities to schedule lots of ACC schools; the passion will be incredible given the storylines that now exist with all four North Carolina schools. If we can't schedule them, look to get in tournaments with them.

With respect to #3, we play NC State home and home starting next year in Raleigh supposedly.

I just got a chuckle out of thinking about how ridiculous that would have seemed even two years ago - "thirst for ACC blood". My how things have changed.
