For a while now, I have felt pretty confident that he will eventually sign with us. I hope it really does happen for us. At this point I would love to give college basketball the finger in everything we do.

I've never thought we would get Turner, If we were listed in his top choices I would have considered us as a possibility but I think it will be Texas, Kansas or Okie state. I think Myles mention of SMU is more of a "well of course I have to consider my local school" but I just don't see the real interest there. If you were seriously thinking you might go somewhere I think you would take an official visit to see the facilities, meet potential team mates, and evaluate the talent of the social scene.

If you lived right by a school why would you use an official on that school when you can get the same thing out of an unofficial? Save your officials for true trips.

I think you've made a guys top 5 or 10 or whatever list when that he makes an official visit to your school. That's a big step, especially when he could take an official to every single major basketball program in the country.
