Ndiaye is a class act

Postby SMU 86 » Wed Mar 19, 2014 10:58 pm

After the game as the 7'6" Ndiaye was going to the locker room a little kid from SMU gave him a high five and Ndiaye gave him his towel. The little kid was just thrilled. It reminded me of the coke commercial with Mean Joe Green many years ago.

Agree completely. I cringed at some of the things people were yelling towards him. Guy is a beast and a good player. Block machine

Definitely a class move.

Ndiaye blocked seven shots, and probably altered almost twice that many more. Very impressive.

I thought it was 9 blocks. Despite some of the classless things that were being yelled at him, he showed class even in a loss to little boy from the opposing teams crowd. I wish him well in his career.

I'm looking at a stat sheet, but I'm with you — it seemed like 100.

Totally agree with you about how classy and gracious he was. His teammates and coach raved about him after the game, too, and not just as a player.

Ndiaye was a presence. Needs to work on that turnaround shot. Once he gets that, he will be a real force to stop

I was genuinely surprised by his ability. I was expecting a bit of a sideshow, but he could end up being pretty legit with some more work.
